Here are some steps on how to file a complaint at the 8888 Complaint Center:

  1. Identify your complaint. Make sure that your complaint is clear, specific, and factual. Avoid making vague, general, or abusive statements that may hinder the resolution of your issue. Also, prepare any supporting documents or evidence that can substantiate your claim.
  2. Choose your communication channel. You can file your complaint through any of these methods:
  • Call: Dial 8888 from any landline or mobile phone and talk to an agent who will assist you with your concern.
  • SMS: Text “COMPLAINT” followed by your name, location, and complaint details to 8888. You will receive a confirmation message with a ticket number for reference.
  • Web: Visit https://8888.gov.ph/ and click on “File Your Complaint” button. Fill out the online form with your personal information and complaint details. You will receive an email confirmation with a ticket number for reference.
  1. Follow up on your complaint status. You can check the status of your complaint by using any of these methods:
  • Call: Dial 8888 and provide your ticket number to an agent who will update you on the progress of your complaint.
  • SMS: Text “STATUS” followed by your ticket number to 8888. You will receive a reply message with the current status of your complaint.
  • Web: Visit https://8888.gov.ph/ and click on “Check Your Status” button. Enter your ticket number and email address to view the current status of your complaint.

  • SMS: Text “FEEDBACK” followed by your ticket number and feedback rating (1 for very dissatisfied, 5 for very satisfied) to 8888. You will receive a confirmation message that your feedback has been received.
  • Web: Visit https://8888.gov.ph/ and click on “Give Your Feedback” button. Enter your ticket number, email address, and feedback rating (1 for very dissatisfied, 5 for very satisfied) in their online form.
