If you are looking for ways to avail burial assistance from the office of the vice president Sara Duterte, you are in the right place. The OVP – Office of the Vice President of the Philippines has recently launched satellite offices across the country that offer medical and burial assistance to people in need especially those who don’t have the capacity to sustain their immediate needs.

The satellite offices were opened on July 1, 2022, the first day of Vice President Sara Duterte’s term. According to her spokesperson Reynold Munsayac, the satellite offices aim to provide easier access to social services for people outside Metro Manila.This initiative brought access especially individuals who are in the province where they don’t need to go to the head of the office in Mandaluyong.

It is noted that the OVP’s medical and burial assistance programs are funded as subsidies under the Annual General Appropriations Act. They can be availed through identified partner hospitals or direct walk-in applications.

To apply for medical or burial assistance, you need to complete the following steps:

1. Fill out an application form that can be downloaded from https://bit.ly/VPSDServes
2. Submit the completed form and requirements to a satellite office processor or staff
3. Wait for your application to be processed
4. The processor or staff will inform you of the date of issuance of assistance that will be provided personally or via email

• Tacloban Satellite Office: 2nd Floor Leyte Park Hotel Magsaysay Boulevard Tacloban City Leyte
• Zamboanga Satellite Office: 3rd Floor Centro Latino Building Paseo del Mar Zamboanga City
• Davao Satellite Office: Door #5 Jocar Building Quimpo Boulevard Matina Davao City
• Tandag Satellite Office: Ground Floor Provincial Capitol Building Tandag City Surigao del Sur

Vice President Sara Duterte plans to open more satellite offices in other regions to reach more Filipinos who need help.
